These video presentations and handouts will be updated regularly as new data emerges on each of these experimental therapies. SIDPEC is the educational hub of the Society of Infectious Diseases Pharmacists (SIDP). The SIDPEC portal provides educational activities on infectious disease pharmacotherapy for clinical pharmacists, health‐systems pharmacists, community pharmacists, and other allied‐health disciplines.
The target audience for this activity is pharmacists. At the completion of this CE activity the participant will be able to do the following in regard to specific treatments being considered for COVID-19:
- Discuss the basic pharmacology.
- Identify potential adverse drug reactions and/or drug interactions.
- Discuss dosing parameters.
